scientific interests:

  • The use of minerals, natural resources (including smectite clays accompanying brown coal deposits) and waste (including post-coagulation sludge from the Water Treatment Plant) as adsorbents for the removal of organic pollutants and metal ions from water systems.
  • Research on the adsorption capacity of materials of various origins.
  • Investigation of the influence of the properties of minerals, rocks and solid waste, ie mineral composition, functional groups, surface morphology, on their adsorption capacity.
