scientific interests:

  • Contamination of water reservoirs subjected to various anthropopressure, mainly with compounds from the group of persistent organic pollutants (including polychlorinated biphenyls, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or phthalates).
  • Research on the use of a selected list of plastic additives (plasticizers) as indicator substances to identify the presence of plastics and their degradation products in environmental matrices, mainly in waters and bottom sediments.
  • Study of the temporal and spatial variability of these pollutants in anthropogenic reservoirs.
  • Searching for the relationship between the sludge granulometry or the morphometry of the reservoir and the content of these pollutants.
