scientific interests:
Research on the use of ombrotrophic fens as archives of trace elements from atmospheric deposition supplementing contemporary EMEP data. Explaining the hyperaccumulation properties of plants in terms of their potential use for soil phytoremediation. Interdisciplinary studies of the impact of non-point and point sources of pollution on various elements of the environment (surface and groundwater in aeration and saturation zones, soil, soil). Forecasting the spread of pollutants in the environment, their interaction and impact on the environment as a function of time and space.
private interests:
In her free time, she likes reading crime books and practicing yoga. She is interested in topics related to a healthy lifestyle and natural cosmetology. He is also passionate about zero waste cuisine.
scientific interests:
Sustainable development; determination of the total cumulative deposition of trace elements from long-range transmission of pollutants using ombrotrophic peatlands as natural archives; long-term biogeochemical changes in weathering of anthropogenic waste; release / binding / migration of trace elements in waste and the soil-ground-water environment; preventing and reducing their long-term environmental impact using non-invasive methods; uptake of trace elements by plants, translocation in tissues and accumulation in edible parts; the impact of climate change on these processes; studies of plants-hyperaccumulative pollutants for their safe non-invasive removal from soil by phytoremediation; research on crops - excluders that do not absorb pollutants to ensure food safety; no-waste economy (circular economy).
private interests:
Sustainable development; protection of biodiversity; animal protection; protection of animal rights
